About DIY Dopamine
The DIY Dopamine Maker
Builder · Reviewer · 3D Printing Nerd
I make things, break things, and document the whole process so you don't have to make the same mistakes I did. Based out of a workshop that smells like PETG and ambition.
The Story
DIY Dopamine started as a personal project log — somewhere to keep notes on what worked, what failed spectacularly, and what I wished I'd known before wasting a spool of filament on something that needed supports.
It turned into a content platform after enough people started asking the same questions: "What printer should I buy?" "How do I finish PLA prints?" "Is the Bambu Lab actually worth it?" This site exists to answer those questions honestly, without affiliate incentives warping the conclusions.
What You'll Find Here
- Project Build Logs: Full documentation from idea to finished print, including STL files and lessons learned.
- Printer Reviews: Long-term takes after real print time — not just unboxing impressions.
- Tips & Techniques: Finishing, troubleshooting, filament selection, and all the stuff that makes the difference between okay prints and great ones.
- YouTube & TikTok Videos: Every major build gets a video. Subscribe if you prefer watching over reading.
On Honesty
Nothing on this site is sponsored. If I recommend something, it's because it worked for me. If something disappointed me, I'll say so clearly. The dopamine only hits when you make something that actually works.

Best place to reach me is Instagram or via the newsletter. I read everything, though I don't always respond as fast as I'd like. If you have a project request or want to suggest a printer I should review, hit me up there.
